JPG Degradation over Successive Saves |

The first image is lossless. The second and third show severe degradation over five and ten load/save cycles.

The first image (blue highlight) was loaded and saved fifty times to the same file. The JPEG library routine accepted a compression range of 1 (most) to 100 (least), setting used was 80. Severe degradation occurred quickly. |
|
When re-tested with a save quality of 100 little improvement was seen. |
